Marshall Bennett is a seasoned marketing and advisor experience professional with over 15 years of leadership in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Head of Advisor Experience at Strategic Financial Group, Marshall supports advisor onboarding, training, succession planning, and team development across the firm. He plays a key role in driving growth by creating systems and experiences that empower both new and seasoned financial professionals.
Before stepping into this leadership role, Marshall served as Director of Marketing for the firm, where he led brand strategy, digital campaigns, event marketing, and public relations efforts. His ability to build visibility while maintaining operational excellence has positioned him as a trusted professional to both leadership and field professionals.
Marshall’s career began at Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union, where he advanced from Marketing Assistant to Marketing Manager, developing social media strategy, managing outreach campaigns, and collaborating across departments to elevate member engagement.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and brings additional expertise in marketing strategy, brand awareness, graphic design, CRM systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Marshall is deeply invested in community engagement and service. He serves as a Board Member of the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, where he contributes to initiatives that support business growth, economic development, and community impact. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Clear Creek Education Foundation and on the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s New Teacher Luncheon committee, supporting CCISD educators. He also volunteers with the Houston Food Bank and believes in giving back through hands-on involvement and collaboration.
Marshall lives in Houston with his wife, Keosha, and their daughter, Emery. As a proud husband and father, he is passionate about building a legacy of service, leadership, and opportunity, both professionally and personally.
