Mikelyn brings a unique blend of discipline, resilience, and heart to her role as a Financial Advisor at Strategic Financial Group. A U.S. Navy veteran, she served six years as a Nuclear Mechanic, gaining invaluable experience in high-stakes environments and learning the importance of precision, structure, and service.

Following her military service, Mikelyn transitioned into the financial world as a Retirement Advisor with Equitable, where she discovered a deep passion for guiding individuals toward financial security and long-term stability. Her journey has taken her from coast to coast, allowing her to connect with diverse communities and develop a deep appreciation for the different stories and dreams people carry.

Mikelyn’s commitment to service deepened after losing her first married home to Hurricane Harvey. Despite the devastation, she found purpose and strength in supporting her neighbors during that difficult time—an experience that continues to fuel her desire to help others rebuild and thrive.

Now rooted in Cypress, Texas, Mikelyn is a proud mom to two kids—a 5-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter. She and her family have found a home and spiritual community at Cy-Life Church, where connection and faith play a central role in their lives.
